The video, taken at a Nigerian beauty spa known as @haykraftbeautystudio, captured the lady lying down calmly as the snail moved across her face, starting from her nose area and even reaching her eyelids.
The owner of the spa, Odutola Ayomide, explained the benefits of the unique treatment known as the "snail facial." According to Ayomide, snail slime is believed to possess various properties that aid in facial cleansing. The treatment is touted to have anti-aging effects, help fade stretch marks and scarring, combat bacteria, and treat acne. It is also known for its hydrating properties, particularly during hydraulic facials, and serves as a natural exfoliant for the skin. Additionally, some individuals reportedly use snail slime for body treatments as well.
