Pwajok Jane Kangyang, a Medicine and Surgery student, has etched her name in the history of the University of Jos (UniJos) by becoming the institution’s first female Students Union Government (SUG) President.
Her groundbreaking achievement comes 49 years after the establishment of the university, marking a significant milestone in UniJos's history. Her victory has been met with widespread celebration and commendations from her peers, friends, and the university community.

One of her colleagues, Dakak Christopher, shared his heartfelt congratulations, writing:
