The three kidnapped students of the University of Calabar, UNICAL, have been freed after spending nearly two weeks in the custody of gunmen.
Damilola Dickson, Ugwu Chukwuemeka, and another student of the school were abducted several weeks ago, with a ransom of N14M demanded.
According to a report from their colleague on the microblogging platform, X, their release has been confirmed to their parents. While the circumstances surrounding their release remain unknown, @Anarii6 confirmed the freedom of her UNICAL colleagues.

It is worth noting that the social media user broke the news of their kidnap on the 30th of March, garnering concerns and attention from necessary authorities.
