Rose Chepkoech, a compassionate businesswoman from Bomet County, is being hailed as a hero after rescuing three children who escaped from their allegedly abusive stepfather. The kids, aged 11, 9, and 5, were found exhausted and injured outside Chepkoech's gate. They had walked from Keroka to Nairobi in search of their father. Chepkoech immediately took them to the local police station for assistance. Due to the severity of the abuse, the police advised providing temporary shelter until a suitable long-term placement could be found for them. The heart-rending accounts from the children revealed the extent of the abuse they endured. They desperately yearn to be reunited with their father, and anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to come forward.
