A Ghanaian teacher, Nathaniel Akomaning Brewu, has melted many hearts on social media after a touching video of him serving jollof rice and chicken to his students surfaced online.
The touching clip, shared on TikTok by @sireffort, shows the teacher’s selfless act of using his own money to prepare a meal for his students.
In the video, the teacher is seen serving the jollof rice and chicken to his excited students, who were visibly delighted by the unexpected treat.
According to the teacher, his motivation for this act is to provide a more inclusive and supportive environment, particularly for a student who is physically challenged and has difficulty fitting in with his peers.
In his words;
“I decided to assist my students, particularly my physically challenged student because I noticed his relationship with the other students in the class was not encouraging. Therefore, I made a conscious effort to bring him closer to me and provide individual support, hoping that this would foster a more inclusive and loving environment, encouraging the other students to develop a positive affinity for him.”
