A final-year student decided life was not worth living any longer and committed suicide after his girlfriend dumped him.

The victim, who has been identified as a student of the Federal Polytechnic, Anambra State, ended his life on Friday, November 18th, 2022.

The unfortunate incident occurred after the student got heartbroken by his girlfriend.

Iyke Orji, a student of the institution described the deceased as someone who was “full of energy and life”.

In his words:

“He was in his IT days, a student of Public Administration. He decided to stay in Oko for his one-year industrial training, (but) instead of focusing on his training, he decided to search for true love”
