Ashraf Sanusi, the son of former Emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has spoken out about the recent arrest of a Lagos model who allegedly defrauded a German man of $220,000 after promising to marry him. According to reports, the German man sold his properties to send the money to the lady, who promised to use it to buy a house in Nigeria where they would live as a married couple, and the rest for a joint business outfit. However, the lady allegedly used the cash for her personal needs instead.

In response to the incident, Ashraf Sanusi stated that while what the lady did was morally wrong, it wasn't necessarily illegal. He explained that there are not always laws in place for immorality, and therefore the lady should not have been arrested.

Sanusi made these remarks in a social media post where he expressed his views on the situation. He also noted that the incident was unfortunate and that he hoped that justice would be served in a fair and just manner.

The arrest of the lady has generated mixed reactions on social media, with some people supporting the arrest while others criticize it. As of now, the lady is in custody and awaiting trial on fraud charges.
