A man has shared an incredible story of how a salesgirl became a millionaire overnight, simply by using her phone, and subsequently leaving her job without notifying her boss.
The story was shared by Facebook user, Brian Jonah Dennis, who revealed the unbelievable turn of events that led to the lady’s sudden wealth.
According to him, the young lady's life changed drastically after she came across a video advertising a land-for-sale on someone’s WhatsApp status.
She downloaded the video, watermarked it with her own phone number, and posted it on her own WhatsApp status, not expecting much to come from it.
A few days later, a serious buyer got in touch with her about the land and requested an inspection. The salesgirl, acting as the intermediary, connected the buyer with the original poster of the video.
In a stroke of luck, the land being sold was located in the prestigious Asokoro district of Abuja, with a valuation nearing N1 billion. As the deal went through, she was entitled to a 5% commission, which resulted in her receiving a staggering N7 million.
Incredibly, the young lady had never even seen the land or knew where in Asokoro it was located. Once the alert of her commission hit her account, she made a life-changing decision.
Brian recounted that, in the middle of her work shift at Chicken Republic, she abruptly took off her apron, removed her hairnet, and walked out of the fast-food restaurant, never to return.
He amusingly noted that she didn’t even bother informing her boss of her resignation, as she left quietly, disappearing from her former life as a salesgirl.
“She never went to the land. She doesn’t even know where in Asokoro it was and I don’t need to tell you that she quit immediately the alert came in. Middle of the day, she took off her apron, removed her hairnet, and walked out of the door of Chicken Republic. She didn’t even inform them she was quitting. She just walked out and never came back 😆😆. Na phone she press oh,” Brian wrote in his post.
