Ruger had fired shots in a riddle via a tweet on the 23rd of November when he said; "I am something. For years now, I have forced my songs down people’s throat whether e sweet abi e no sweet either by too much ads or by paying every influencer to make noise about a song they don’t even like. Or by speeding my song on TIKTOK. WHAT AM I ?"
Several Twitter users have reacted to the tweet with speculations over whom the tweet may be directed at. Artistes, BNXN and Blaqbonez have also reacted with the general opinion being that Ruger's tweet was aimed at Mavins. It is worthy to note that the singer had earlier addressed the music released the weekend before the drop of his "Asiwaju" and "Red Flags" track as "noise" with Twitter users also speculating that he was either referring to the Mavin joint single, "Won Da Mo"or Tiwa Savage and Asake's "Loaded".
