Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the PRO of the Nigeria Police Force, has stated that they are awaiting information from Bella Shmurda regarding Mohbad's death. Adejobi emphasized that Bella Shmurda, a close friend of the late rapper Mohbad, holds crucial information that could assist their investigation. Mohbad's death, which occurred under controversial circumstances, led to an official inquiry by the authorities. The police have called upon anyone, especially friends and family of the deceased musician, to come forward with any pertinent information. Controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo also issued a 48-hour ultimatum for Bella Shmurda to cooperate with the police, to which Adejobi responded by saying, "I am expecting to hear from him." In a previous interview, Bella Shmurda had mentioned that Mohbad had attempted suicide due to a dispute with Naira Marley's record label, Marlian Music, and claimed that the late artist had received threats.
