General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, has opened up about the reason behind him placing a curse on Happie Boys. The pastor's actions came after Happie Boyz, namely Matthew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, publicly accused him of abandoning them after he had flown them to Cyprus. Their accusations caused a social media frenzy, leading to the furious pastor responding with curses directed at the young men in a voice note, which was later shared by the boys on Instagram.
During a press conference held in Port Harcourt, Apostle Chibuzor addressed journalists and clarified that he had not actually abandoned the boys. He stated that he had already forgiven Happie Boys for their actions, despite feeling hurt and regretful about their public call-out. The pastor emphasized that the curses were placed on the boys prior to their grievances being made public.
Apostle Chibuzor revealed that his decision to curse the boys was driven by anger and the sense of sadness he experienced when they called him out on Instagram. He emphasized that, above all, he considered Happie Boys to be his children and had already forgiven them. He also addressed the accusations of abandonment, explaining that his inability to continue sponsoring the boys' overseas endeavors was due to the global increase in the dollar exchange rate.
It remains a topic of public interest as people speculate on the fallout and consequences of the curse placed by the OPM Pastor on Happie Boys, as well as the subsequent events that may unfold.
