A Nigerian lady named Grace Ogwo is celebrating a remarkable achievement at the age of 27, having earned a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa. Grace's success is particularly noteworthy given that she received a D7 in Mathematics in her West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and a C6 in her NECO certificate in the same subject. However, she did not let these setbacks discourage her, and instead pursued her passion for mathematics, eventually graduating with a First Class in Mathematics during her first degree at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU), where she was also the best-graduating student in her department at the time. Grace went on to complete an MSc in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, earning a 72% grade, before achieving a remarkable 81% summa cum laude in her second MSc in Mathematics from the University of Kwazulu-Natal. She accomplished this feat with 20 publications under her belt, which is an incredible accomplishment for someone so young. Grace took to Facebook to express her gratitude and excitement, writing: "PhD at 27!!!!! Waec (mathematics) D7 ( Methodist high school), Neco (Mathematics) C6 (Methodist high school), Bsc (Mathematics) first class honours (Mouau) best graduating student mathematics department, Msc (Mathematical sciences ) 72% ( university of cape town, south Africa), Msc (mathematics ) 81% summa cum laude (university of kwazulu-natal , south Africa), PhD Mathematics (20 publications). God you really over did yourself. Thank you Jesus". Congratulations to Grace on her incredible achievements!
