A Nigerian man known as Udeze 1 of Nnewi has stirred up a significant controversy with his recent statement branding Nigerian women as being situated at the 'bottom barrel' in the realm of relationships and marriage.
The discourse unfolded within a Twitter thread initiated by Mazi Uchenna Odu, where Odu advised Igbo men to approach court weddings cautiously.
Udeze 1 of Nnewi actively engaged in the fervent debate on Sunday, August 6th, sharing his personal experiences from his marriage to a South African woman.
Udeze's comments have drawn widespread attention due to his assertion that Nigerian women, particularly those of Igbo descent, occupy a status he labels as the 'bottom barrel' within the domain of relationships and marriage.
“lolz I married a South African woman and I have been with her for 7 years so stop crying. You should know you Nigerian women especially Igbo women are bottom barrel when it comes to relationships and marriage; that is why you Igbo women hardly get married over here,” Udeze responded in reaction to Odu's tweet.
