A concerned Nigerian man ignited a social media storm by raising awareness about the exorbitant prices of the traditional staple, fufu, which has reportedly surged to ₦100 per wrap.
Expressing his frustration, the man called on fellow Nigerians to join him in a protest against the steep fufu prices. In a passionate post, he declared that if support didn't materialize, he would embark on the protest solo. His statement emphasized the untenable situation: “Fufu is now 100 naira per wrap. This is my last straw and the camel has died. If you all won’t protest, I’ll do it alone. You can’t charge such a high price for fufu and expect me to stay calm.”
