A 39-year-old Nigerian man identified as Ezeh Francis has taken to social media to celebrate a remarkable milestone in his life. After seven years of hard work and determination abroad, he has successfully purchased his own house in the United Kingdom, an accomplishment that speaks volumes about his dedication and financial discipline.
Francis, who has been living and working as a cleaner since relocating abroad, shared his inspiring story on Facebook. He expressed immense gratitude and pride in achieving this significant goal and encouraged others to adopt frugality in their lifestyle to attain similar accomplishments.
In his heartfelt post, he urged people not to be discouraged by the opinions of others regarding their job or financial status, emphasizing that what matters most is achieving personal goals and stability.
He wrote:
“At age 39, I have just moved into my own house in the UK. This is my achievement working as a cleaner for 7 years. Many times we are discouraged by what people will say when we tell them what we do abroad. I don’t care what you say about my job as long as it puts food on my table and pays my bills.”
He continued to offer advice to others, saying, “If you want to achieve this, please stop wasting money on outings, drinking, and buying expensive fashion wears—things that wouldn’t benefit you tomorrow. For this year, I have only bought one new cloth. All the clothes I wear are second-hand, and they give me the best fittings.”
Francis highlighted the importance of saving consistently, regardless of the amount earned, and staying focused on long-term goals. He stressed that with dedication, anyone could achieve similar results.
“Trust me, as long as you’re earning and able to save per month no matter how small, you can as well get a building of your own as I did. That’s if you’re serious and know what you want in life. I feel very happy when I realize how much I have achieved so far in my life,” he added.
Reflecting on his humble beginnings, Francis acknowledged how much this achievement means to him and his family, emphasizing that this milestone marks a turning point in his life.
He concluded his message with gratitude, saying, “This might be small to some people, but it means so much considering my family background. Finally, no more rent. I’m grateful, Father.”
