Faith Ferdinand Odimma, has reportedly scalded her 2-month-old son’s hand with hot water in Rivers State.
According to reports, the heart-wrenching incident happened recently at her residence in Alakahia, Port Harcourt. The incident was captured in videos that Faith shared on her WhatsApp status, showing the 2-month-old boy's hands being doused with iodine to treat the burn that caused his hands to swell. In one of the captions in the videos, Faith suggested that she poured hot water on the boy’s hand out of rage.
A close source claimed that the lady, a 200-level English student at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, had an argument with her baby’s father and acted out her resentment on their child. The motive for the alleged dispute was not disclosed.
The disturbing incident has sparked outrage on social media, with many Nigerians calling for justice to be served. Some are also advocating for the baby to be taken away from Faith's custody, while others are expressing concern for the well-being of the child.
