American business magnate, computer programmer, internet entrepreneur, and founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, tore his ACL while training for his MMA fight with Twitter CEO Elon Musk.
The mixed martial arts fight between these two billionaires was originally scheduled for August 26 but was postponed for unknown reasons.
In a recent Facebook post about his newly sustained injury, Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg [/b]hinted that the event would now take place in 2024, which is next year.
He wrote: “Tore my ACL sparring and just got out of surgery to replace it. Grateful for the doctors and team taking care of me. I was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now that’s delayed a bit. Still looking forward to it after I recover. Thanks to everyone for the love and support.”
Shortly after his statement, thousands of well-wishers flooded his comment section to send their condolences.

There are some dark days ahead. However, it does get better. I’m back to lifting and walking, and I feel the momentum every week.”
Lisa: “Here’s to a rapid healing process and feeling much better very soon! Drink some bone broth and heal up quicker.”
Achref: “Glad your hospital has fuel to be able to have surgery, glad your doctors can make the surgery without choosing between you and another patient. Glad they can conduct anesthesia for the surgery.”
Peter: “Actions speak louder than words, but consistency speaks louder than both. Choose people who consistently make you feel wanted and respected.”
