A Muslim dad has stirred humor online with a funny story about the lengths he went to avoid helping his son with homework.
The man, known as Mustapha, shared the amusing incident in a post where he explained how he overheard his son talking to his mother about a challenging Arabic assignment he had been given at school.
According to Mustapha, the boy’s mother, unable to assist him with the assignment herself, claimed she was busy in the kitchen and suggested he bring it to his father instead. However, Mustapha, knowing he also couldn’t help with the homework, quickly devised a plan to avoid it.
He pretended to be sick. Hearing his wife’s suggestion, he jumped into bed, covered himself, and started shaking to mimic the symptoms of a high fever before his son could come into the room.
When the son entered and saw his father in this "sick" state, he quickly returned to his mother to report that his dad was unwell. Mustapha’s wife rushed to check on him, only to find the situation was a playful trick. The couple exchanged looks and burst into laughter at the humorous scene.
Mustapha shared the funny story, saying: “My son brought his homework from Islamiyah, and it was all in Arabic. He asked his mom to help him, but she knew she couldn’t do it. However, she claimed she was busy in the kitchen and told him to bring it to me. Thank God I heard her from the room. I quickly jumped into bed, covered myself, and started shaking before he came in. High fever 😅. Your guy went back to his mom to tell her that I was sick, and she rushed to the room to check on me.”
He ended the post with a light-hearted message: “We looked at each other and started laughing. 🤣 😂Scope pass scope. Please let’s go back to Islamiya oo.”
