In a letter that was shared with popular social media influencer @__Folarin__, the man openly admitted that despite maintaining a long-term relationship with his girlfriend for six years, he has made the decision to marry someone else. The man elaborated on his reasoning, explaining that although he had made significant efforts to make the relationship work, his girlfriend’s attitude eventually drove him away. He shared that her behavior often made him feel undervalued and unappreciated, which ultimately led him to reconsider their future together.
Adding an unexpected twist to his revelation, he disclosed his intention to send his girlfriend a wedding invitation on April 1, 2025. The choice of date seems deliberate, as it coincides with April Fool’s Day, subtly suggesting that he hopes she might perceive the invitation as an April Fool’s joke.
In his letter, he stated, “I’m getting married in April 2025. And it’s not to my girlfriend of 6 years. I have heard about people not marrying their long-time girlfriends. And believe me, I tried to make it work. But she always made me feel like she was doing me a favor. Will send her invite on 1st April hoping she takes it lightly.”
