A Nigerian man has taken to social media to lament his dire situation as he faces imminent homelessness due to his inability to pay rent. The man, who has saved over $60,000 in a mobile app, shared his story online, explaining that the owner of the app claimed it had been hacked, leaving him unable to access his funds.

In a heartfelt post on his X (formerly Twitter) page, the man expressed his frustration, revealing that despite the large sum of money in the app, he has been unable to withdraw any of it. He stated that the app owner has not provided any solutions since the alleged hack occurred, and as a result, he is now on the verge of eviction.

The man explained that he had been patient since the incident occurred but now finds himself with just a few days left before he is forced to leave his home. In desperation, he pleaded for at least $10,000 from his savings to cover his rent and other essential expenses.

His full statement reads:

“Omo, I don’t know what else to do at this point, but here I am on the brink of homelessness because I can’t pay my rent. Meanwhile, I have over $60K that I don’t know if I’m ever going to get because @Fejizzy claimed @Patricia was hacked since 2023.”

“I’ve been patient since this happened. Everyone knows how hard it is to survive in this country, let alone pay bills when you’re not making any income. A lot has happened since then, but how much can I even say?”

“I tried everything I could to make Hanu understand my concerns, but I don’t think he’s ever going to acknowledge them. I even had to pay for Twitter Blue because only ‘Verified Accounts’ can message him! Omo.”

“My rent is due in two weeks, and I currently don’t have the money because I’ve exhausted all my options. All I ask is just a small portion of my money—$10K out of my $60K+ with Hanu’s Patricia—so I can pay my bills and sort things out for myself.”

“I’ve been struggling since this happened, and I believe this is fair enough. Please help me beg @Fejizzy to address my concerns. He is online but is intentionally ignoring this!”
