A man expressed his frustration online after sharing the furniture sample he gave to his carpenter alongside the disappointing result he received. The man, known as Mark, took to the microblogging platform X to post about his experience, revealing his first encounter with the all-too-familiar 'what I wanted vs what I got.'
According to Mark, he had provided his carpenter with a photo of the design he wanted, expecting to receive something similar. However, when the work was completed, he was extremely dissatisfied with the result.
The desk and chair the carpenter made looked nothing like the original photo and resembled something more suited for a secondary school setting, Mark complained. He posted a side-by-side comparison, highlighting how far off the final product was from what he had hoped for.
Mark captioned his post with a dramatic message: “Guys, today I got my own share of ‘what I ordered vs what I got.’ Y’all wanna see?😭 I won mad!! Like my head is spinning😭😭”
Reactions that followed…
@Morrisbaker asked: “You don try snap am from up?”
@irunnia commented: “Na to open small primary school remain😭”
@bigtimevicks asked: “Have you kept the MacBook on the table and e no resemble?😭”
@Ayo_Oladiran pointed out: “The wood is the first major difference.”
