A man has expressed frustration as he shares an incident involving his landlord, who reportedly requested that he and other tenants contribute money for a sacrifice to employ a new vigilante, despite the act clashing with his religious beliefs.
According to the man, the landlord had stated that each tenant must make a financial contribution toward a ritual intended to secure the services of a new vigilante for the community’s safety.
However, the tenant, identifying himself as a devout Christian, said that he could not support this type of activity, as it directly conflicts with his faith and values.
He further explained that the landlord has been particularly vocal, expressing his displeasure over the tenant’s refusal to comply with the group’s decision.

“I have encountered a major challenge where I reside, sir. I live in Ogun State, Otta, to be precise. Yesterday, I had a significant disagreement with my landlord because he posted a message in our housing WhatsApp group, stating that the community expects each household to contribute a set amount for a sacrifice that would take place before they employ a new vigilante in the area. I am a committed Christian, and such an act is contrary to my beliefs, so I made it clear that I would not participate. Since then, my landlord has been vocal and continuously expressing his disappointment about my choice to abstain from this contribution. What is your advice?”
