A man named Ebuka Maduabuchukwu has caused mixed reactions on social media after he alleged that some men have a habit of sleeping with the groom and then showing up on his wedding day as his groomsmen. He shared his thoughts on his Facebook page where he warned men who are guilty of this practice to stop it. According to Ebuka, some men who were previous lovers of the groom still show up for the man's wedding posing as just regular friends. He went further to allege that the practice is common among men living in Port Harcourt and Owerri.
In his Facebook post, Ebuka wrote: "Stop doing groomsmen for men you've slept with! Stop it! Owerri and PH men na una dey do am pass". His post has elicited a plethora of reactions from Nigerians, with some expressing shock and disbelief at the allegation while others found it amusing.
One user named yung_boss1 commented, "Na me no understand this post abi na this loud Dey confuse me". Another user named nene_george wrote, "Hmm… ifeneme o! Things are happening. So una Dey do grooms men for una bend down collect partners? This is seriouser than I thought."
