A young man, accompanied by his wife Jennie and their young daughter, faced an unfortunate situation when they were forced to leave a plane following complaints from fellow passengers about their body odor.
The man expressed his dissatisfaction with how the airline handled the situation, claiming that they were treated rudely and prevented from flying as scheduled.
He further alleged that they were subjected to discrimination on religious grounds because they were Jewish. Recounting their experience with the airline, the man stated;
“There’s a religious reason for some reason that they’re kicking me off the plane. We don’t have odor, ok? Nobody here has an odor. All of a sudden, as soon as they took us off, they closed the gate and then they said, ‘Sorry sir, some people complained you had body odor and we’re not letting you back on’.”
The American airline confirmed the incident, stating that the man and his family were indeed removed from the plane due to complaints from several passengers about their body odor. The airline provided them with accommodation for the night, meal vouchers, and rebooked them on a flight for the following day.
