Amarah Kennedy, a Lagos-based businessman, is currently wanted by the police for continuously circulating nude photos of two single mothers with whom he had previously engaged in sexual relationships.
Kennedy allegedly sent these explicit photos to the WhatsApp group associated with the church of one of the women, identified as Kester, as well as to her late husband's family members and colleagues at her workplace.
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa[/figure]Kennedy reportedly made a chilling statement, claiming that his actions would drive Kester to suicide. Despite this, Kester shared that her in-laws and pastor have expressed their support for her during this distressing situation.
On Tuesday alone, Kennedy sent the compromising photos to at least 48 individuals.
The PUNCH published a special feature on Sunday, revealing that Kennedy had separately met the two women, Kester and another woman named Temi, on different WhatsApp and Facebook chat groups catering to singles.
Kester, who lost her husband in a car crash eight years ago, disclosed that the businessman showered her with monetary gifts after initiating a chat with her. However, after a disagreement, he retaliated by sending her over 50 explicit photos he had secretly taken during their intimate encounters in a hotel.
The distressed woman stated that the suspect demanded a sum of N100,000 from her to delete the photos. Despite complying with his demand and sending the money, he later asked for an additional N40,000 for permanent deletion, which she also sent to him.
Despite making the payments, the suspect went ahead and shared the explicit photos on Facebook, causing significant distress to Kester, who revealed that she attempted suicide twice but was unsuccessful due to the inquiries and scrutiny from those who saw the images.
As for the second victim, Temi, she shared that Kennedy would often engage in drug-fueled marathon sexual encounters with her at hotels and only provide her with N1,000 as transportation fare afterward. When she realized he was merely using her and not genuinely interested in a relationship, she cut off communication with him.
However, Kennedy did not stop there and reportedly sent her several of her own explicit photos, demanding reimbursement for all the money he had spent on her during their involvement. Temi borrowed N15,000 to comply with his demand.
Later, when she reached out to his sister on Facebook seeking assistance in resolving the situation, Kennedy retaliated by sharing her nude photos with even more people.
After the report was published, Kennedy threatened to continue damaging the reputations of these women, asserting that they had tarnished his image. He followed through on his threat by sending the explicit photos to even more of their family members.
PUNCH Metro managed to obtain some screenshots of the conversations as Kennedy continued to chat with the victims and their friends, showing them the individuals to whom he had sent the compromising photos.
In one of the chats, Kennedy unabashedly claimed to have uploaded all
