She wished to remain anonymous but expressed her frustration at how her fiancé's behavior changed after he saw the bride price list.
In the anonymous letter, the woman explained that the trouble began on November 9, when her fiancé was presented with the traditional bride price list. She stated that after this event, his attitude towards her shifted dramatically, and he has since stopped answering her calls. The woman, who has no parents, expressed her fear of losing him and her emotional pain, saying, "Keep me anonymous. This nightmare was collected on the 9th Nov. 24. It’s disheartening because since my guy saw the list he has changed and he’s not picking my calls. I don’t want to lose him. I have no parents too. I have struggled enough 😭."
