A Nigerian lady has expressed her frustration and disappointment after her US visa application was denied, despite investing millions of naira and undergoing intense prayer and fasting in hopes of securing approval. The lady, who had placed great faith in both her financial and spiritual preparations, took to social media to share her emotional experience following the rejection. In a video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, she detailed the entire process, from her anticipation to the crushing moment she learned her visa had been denied.
In the video, the lady recounts her experience at the embassy, explaining that she had gone to great lengths to ensure her application would be successful. Not only did she spend a significant amount of money preparing for the interview, but she also engaged in spiritual practices, including fasting and praying, believing that these efforts would lead to a positive outcome. However, her dedication did not result in the approval she had hoped for. She was devastated when her visa was denied.

The lady further shared that she wasn’t the only one who faced rejection that day. She mentioned how nearly 20 other applicants in the same session were also denied their visas. According to her, the interview session saw around 300 people, yet only about five of them were likely to have their visas approved. She expressed her sadness over the outcome, stating, “I feel sad. I could have used my money to buy a car. I’m depressed.” Despite her disheartened state, the lady remains determined to try again. She added, “I’ll go to that Yankee,” indicating that she intends to reapply in the future.
