In her heartfelt post, the woman described the challenges she has been facing in her marriage, highlighting that her husband has become a financial burden. Despite her efforts to support him and revive their family’s stability, his actions have only led to further disappointments and heartache.
The woman revealed that her husband has turned into a deadbeat, forcing her to take on the role of breadwinner for their family of seven. Determined to help him regain purpose, she invested in starting a business for him. However, the business ultimately failed due to his unfaithful behavior, as he engaged in affairs with some of the employees she had hired to assist him.
To make matters worse, one of his affairs resulted in him contracting a virus, which he later passed on to her. This betrayal has deepened her anguish, as it not only affected her emotionally but also posed a serious health risk.
The woman confessed that she has been considering divorce as a way to move on from the toxic relationship. However, her fears of financial loss have made the decision difficult. Being married in community of property means that a divorce could leave her with significant financial setbacks, as her husband has no assets while she has worked hard to acquire hers over the years.
Their marriage of 18 years has produced five children, adding another layer of complexity to her dilemma. She is torn between protecting her own well-being and ensuring stability for her children, while also grappling with her husband’s continuous infidelity, which has escalated to him having affairs with young girls she teaches at work.
In her post, she wrote: “Good day Auntie Momoza. I have a problem here. I’m married to a guy who is no longer working and I am a breadwinner. I tried to start a business for him but he slept with staff members and the business collapsed. One of them infected him with a virus and he infected me. We have 5 children together and been married for 18 years. I have been considering divorce but I stand to lose a lot because we are married in community of property. He has nothing and I have assets. I really don’t know what to do because this man is living off me yet he cheats a lot. These days he even cheats with kids that I teach at work. I just don’t know what to do. This man is almost 50.”
