A young lady has taken to social media to share her unpleasant experience with a hair vendor who treated her rudely over a wig purchase, only to later plead for her understanding after a reversed bank transfer.
The lady narrated how she had ordered some wigs from the vendor, but upon receiving her package, she realized that what was delivered was not what she had initially ordered. Disappointed, she reached out to the vendor to express her dissatisfaction. However, instead of addressing her concerns professionally, the seller allegedly responded rudely, dismissing her complaints.
Unknown to the wig seller, the bank transfer payment made by the customer had been automatically reversed several hours later. However, the buyer, still upset over how she was treated, decided to wait before resending the money.
The situation took a dramatic turn when the vendor later realized that she had not actually received the payment. Panic-stricken, she started reaching out to the buyer, calling her non-stop in an attempt to retrieve the money. The same vendor who had been dismissive and rude was now desperately pleading for the transaction to be resent.
According to the customer, the vendor persistently called her for two days, using harsh words and insults, demanding that she resend the payment. However, after noticing the situation had changed, the seller then switched to pleading, apologizing for her initial rudeness.
The lady further explained that she is based in Akwa Ibom, while the vendor is located in Lagos, making it difficult to return the wigs. Now, she is contemplating whether to pay back the full amount or just half of what the wigs cost, given the vendor's poor customer service and the inconvenience she experienced.

“I bought wigs from a lady but it wasn’t what I ordered that was delivered to me and when I reached out to her on phone, she was very rude to me. Meanwhile, the transaction got reversed several hours later, but something just told me to chill before resending. She called for two days straight, calling me names, but I didn’t even say a word back. Since 2 days now, she has been begging, but I feel like I should only pay back half of the wigs’ worth. What do you think, my people? She is in Lagos while I am in Akwa Ibom.”
Her post has since gone viral, sparking debates online, with many users sharing their thoughts on how she should handle the situation. Some believe she should return the full amount despite the vendor’s attitude, while others feel she has the right to demand better customer service before making any further transactions.
