Lady devastated as husband leaves her for cousin after her infidelity

A deeply heartbroken lady has recounted her devastating experience after her husband divorced her to marry her cousin, following her infidelity.

The unnamed woman took to a relationship platform to share her story, confessing to being unfaithful during their marriage, a decision that ultimately led to its demise.

Her husband, feeling betrayed, saw no reason to continue the relationship and proceeded to end their union. However, what shocked her the most was when he later began a romantic relationship with her cousin, who had once worked as a house help for them, and eventually married her.

She revealed that this turn of events has left her struggling to come to terms with her situation, as her cousin now enjoys the privileges and benefits she once had as the wife.

Adding to her grief, she admitted that her actions have resulted in the loss of custody of her child, with her ex-husband and cousin now acting as parents. She confessed to battling alcohol abuse, which has worsened her circumstances, leaving her feeling bitter and helpless.

“Please keep me anonymous. My life is a mess. So I cheated on my husband and he divorced me. Less than a year later, he started dating my closest cousin, who used to work for us as a helper, and they ended up getting married. Now I’m sitting at home, unemployed and bitter AF while my cousin is getting all the benefits I used to get.

I’m a Christian, but I keep having African thoughts. My ex-husband could have chosen another woman, but why someone close to me? The pain is unbearable. The worst part is they took my child because I’ve been abusing alcohol. Now I have to beg my former helper, who is now my child’s stepmother, when I want to see him. It’s so hard.”
