A lady, Chukwudi Mmesoma, has referred to guys who toast ladies above their leagues as gold diggers.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, Mmesoma stated that only gold-digging guys leave women in their own leagues and financial status, choosing to pursue those considered above their financial and social standing.
According to her, these men aren't driven by love but rather by the desire to find a financial “meal ticket.”
She wrote, “The Only Reason you will be Professing love to a lady who is obviously above your league is because you are a Gold digger yourself."
“There are different beautiful ladies, within your league and financial status, but you will leave them, to go for well-to-do ladies. It is not Love, you are equally looking for a meal ticket.”
