A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to publicly call out a well-known influencer on X (formerly Twitter), accusing him of trying to force her into his hotel room under false pretenses. She further alleged that when she refused, he labeled her a thief after she ate the meal he had bought for her.
In a lengthy post shared on the platform, the lady recounted the events that took place two years ago. According to her, the influencer had persistently asked a waitress to serve her meal inside his hotel room, hoping she would follow him. However, when she declined his advances, he allegedly became hostile and demanded that she refund the money he had spent on the food.
To support her claims, she attached a video showing herself at the hotel, visibly distressed and calling for help. She also recorded the influencer and the hotel premises to document the encounter.
In the video, she could be heard saying:
“I’m at Graceville oo, and it’s Kene that’s holding me at Graceville Hotel ooo. Kene of Twitter oo.”
“I’ll send you people his tweet and his photos, please oo, I don’t want to pass away young oo. Everybody bear me witness. Call your account, you say no, you’re running away. Let me send you people his pictures.”
She went on to explain that after refusing to enter his hotel room, the influencer demanded that she pay back the cost of the meal. When she agreed and asked for his account details, he allegedly refused to provide them and instead detained her at the hotel entrance for hours, accusing her of theft.
According to her, the situation escalated further as she became increasingly scared. She said she was locked in the guardroom and had to call her friend and cousin to come to her aid as it was already past midnight and raining.
She further detailed her experience in another post, stating:
“He asked me to refund the money because I wouldn’t follow him to the room after he repeatedly called the waitress to take my plate there, which I refused because, honestly, who would sleep with that? I agreed to refund the money, but he refused to provide his details. Instead, he held me at the gate for hours, calling me a thief. I was locked in the guardroom. I got so scared that I called my friend and cousin at home—it was almost 2 a.m., and it was raining.”
In another follow-up post, she expressed her frustration with the influencer, stating:
“I kept quiet about this for two years, but I won’t let this man keep lying about me. If he truly has CCTV footage, let him release it. If not, he’s a million times a liar. He threatened to lock me up, take my phone, and said I would die in jail. Now, two years later, he’s still bitter about a situation where his ego was bruised. Hit the gym, work on yourself, and stop obsessing over a girl who rejected you two years ago.”
She also denied claims that the influencer had spent ₦500,000 on her, challenging him to provide evidence of such a transaction.
“Lastly, he lied about the ₦500k. Tell him to show proof of what led to that discussion. Useless idiot.”
She concluded her statement by saying that she would not discuss the matter any further unless she was provoked again.
