A Nigerian lady has shared a deeply emotional story about her painful past with an ex-boyfriend who got her pregnant while she was still in SS2 and later abandoned her.
The lady, who recently opened up about her experience in a post on her X page, formerly Twitter, revealed how the man resurfaced after years, pleading for forgiveness. He claimed that he had been under a curse and could not marry a white woman.
According to her, she once believed he was the man she would spend the rest of her life with. When she got pregnant, both her parents and his family were initially supportive and excited about the news. However, just two months into the pregnancy, he suddenly vanished without any explanation.
The young lady revealed that she and her family searched for him everywhere but to no avail. To make matters worse, his mother allegedly told her that she was just a side chick and that he already had a wife. The trauma of the situation was unbearable, and she was left to suffer alone. Sadly, she eventually lost the baby.
In a heartbreaking message, she expressed her pain and disappointment, saying:
“Two years have passed, and I’m still shocked that you didn’t hear what happened. When I got pregnant, everyone was happy and celebrated the news, but you disappeared after just two months. We searched for you everywhere, but you were nowhere to be found. Your mother even told me that I was nothing more than a side chick and that you already had a wife.”
“I kept asking myself what I did to deserve this. I was so kind to you, yet you turned around and destroyed my life. I was just in SS2, but you didn’t care. You ran away, and my child died. Who do I blame?”
“You had the audacity to tell me you loved me. I trusted you completely, and we were so happy together. But then you disappeared and left me to suffer. How old was I at the time? I was just a child.”
Now, after all these years, the man has come back, seeking her forgiveness. He reportedly told her that he was cursed and that he was unable to marry a white woman because of it.
In response, she simply said, “I didn’t curse you with my mouth.”
The emotional story has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many expressing their sympathy and outrage over what she went through.
