Nollywood actress, Judy Austin, has found herself in the midst of controversy due to her comments regarding the recent awarding of two Doctorate degrees to her father-in-law, the legendary actor, Pete Edochie.
In a congratulatory message, Judy Austin, who is married to Yul Edochie, joined her husband in celebrating Pete Edochie's remarkable achievement. She posted a picture of the iconic actor in his graduation gown and referred to him as the "Lion of Africa." In her message, she expressed her recognition of the well-deserved honors bestowed upon him and extended her wishes for his long life and continued blessings.
However, as is common on social media, netizens flocked to the comments section, heavily criticizing her for her involvement in the family. Some accused her of seeking attention and undermining Pete Edochie's reputation. Here are some of the comments from the post:
