A young man by the name of Dimeji Ezekiel found himself out of a job after engaging in online sexual harassment towards a lady. The incident came to light when a Twitter user, @TheLoliaba, took to the platform to expose Dimeji's persistent and aggressive advances towards her on Instagram. Despite the lady's clear rejection and advice to back off, Dimeji continued to express himself in various ways. The situation escalated when @TheLoliaba called him out on Twitter, tagging his workplace and providing evidence of his misconduct.
In a thread on Twitter, @TheLoliaba boldly stated that on June 1, 2023, Dimeji Ezeikel, a product designer at LemFi (@UseLemfi), sexually harassed her online. She expressed her determination to speak up against sexual abuse and emphasized the need for women to feel safe and free from the depravity of such men. The victim, aware of the potential scrutiny and considering her mental state, initially hesitated to come forward but was encouraged by her close friends to share her experience. She refused to let harassers and abusers thrive in silence and urged other women to stay safe.
In response to the allegations, Dimeji's employer confirmed that they had terminated his employment after conducting a thorough investigation. The company stated their strong stance against indiscipline and emphasized that they had contacted both parties involved. Dimeji acknowledged that the messages originated from him, and the company also reached out to @TheLoliaba, listened to her perspective, and offered an apology. LemFi (formerly Lemonade Finance) made it clear that they have zero tolerance for such behavior within their organization.
As a woman who stands vehemently against sexual abuse in any form, I cannot sit back and let this slide. Women deserve to be able to exist in safety, away from the sexual depravity of sick, sick men.
“I was hesitant to speak up at first, as I am well aware of the vile scrutiny victims are often subjected to, particularly given my current mental state, however have been encouraged by my close friends to speak up.
Harassers and abusers [/b]thrive in the silence of their victims and I will be damned if I lend to their thriving. Stay safe, ladies. He’s a fucking creep 🤮,” she wrote in the thread.
