Umeh's exceptional achievement in academics garnered national recognition, as she secured the highest score of 360 in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

At just 16 years old, Umeh has set her sights on studying chemical engineering at the University of Lagos, reflecting her ambition and dedication to her chosen field of study.

Another student, Mmesoma Ejikeme, had initially claimed to be the top scorer in the UTME. However, she later apologized for falsifying her results.

In a July interview on Arise TV, young Umeh attributed her inspiration to prominent figures, including the American neurosurgeon, Dr. Ben Carson, and the founder of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi.

The aspiring chemical engineer from Anambra shared, “Dr. Ben Carson has achieved so much despite his background. I've read all his books, and they truly inspire me. Pastor Kumuyi, the proprietor of my school, is my greatest role model. His fearless and impactful preaching resonates with me during our Deeper Life services in school. I’ve not met him personally, but I would really like to.”
