The Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Is-haq Oloyede, has addressed the claims made by Ejikeme Mmesoma, a candidate who recently took the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). According to Mr Oloyede, JAMB's investigations have revealed that Mmesoma was either deceived or is involved in a sophisticated syndicate that manufactures fake UTME results. He firmly stood by his position during an interview with Premium Times, stating that the document presented by Mmesoma actually belongs to another candidate who took the exam two years ago. Mr Oloyede further highlighted that scanning the code on the result would clearly show the authentic candidate's information, thus concluding that Mmesoma's result is completely fake. He emphasized that her claim of printing the result from the JAMB site is false and misleading. Mr Oloyede hinted at undisclosed security features on JAMB results, implying that Mmesoma's attempt to deceive the public would ultimately be futile. He warned against seeking shortcuts and suggested that revealing all the information known by JAMB would shock people.
