A popular Twitter influencer has responded to the recent accusations leveled against him by a lady on social media, refuting her claims and presenting his own side of the story.
The controversy began when the lady took to X (formerly Twitter) to allege that the influencer had bought her food and later pressured her to follow him to his hotel room. According to her, when she refused, he got upset and demanded that she refund the money he spent on her meal. She also claimed that he falsely accused her of theft and detained her at the hotel premises for hours.
Her allegations quickly gained traction online, sparking debates and reactions from netizens. However, in a new twist, the influencer has come forward with a counterclaim, stating that the woman’s version of events is entirely misleading. He alleged that, contrary to her story, she was the one who initially asked him for ₦500,000 in exchange for intimacy, which he outrightly declined.
He further revealed that he had earlier sent her ₦100,000 for transportation, but after refusing her demand for ₦500,000, he simply requested that she refund the ₦100,000 he had given her.
Clarifying the situation in his words, he wrote:
“A girl came to X years back claiming KENE locked her up over ₦100k, and everyone ran with it 😂. ₦100k? Madam actually demanded ₦500k to sleep with me. I declined and simply asked her to refund the ₦100k I had sent her. What exactly did I do wrong? I sent ₦100k for ‘Uber,’ but I was still the one who picked her up.”
The influencer further stated that he initially remained silent on the issue because he was in a relationship at the time and wanted to avoid unnecessary drama. However, he has now chosen to speak up in order to clear his name and protect his reputation.
“At the time, I was in a relationship and didn’t want any drama, which is why I didn’t respond. But I won’t let a lie persist, especially when it comes to my brand lol.”
Additionally, he criticized the lady for allegedly taking advantage of his hospitality, claiming that she arrived at the lodge extremely hungry and consumed food worth over ₦50,000. According to him, while he did not mind offering her food, he was not comfortable letting her walk away with his ₦100,000 without proper justification.
“Mind you, that clown came to the lodge starving, eating everything within her reach—she literally consumed over ₦50k worth of food because she was hungry. I honestly didn’t mind. However, I wasn’t going to let her walk away with my ₦100k, especially since I was the one who picked her up myself.”
The unfolding drama has generated mixed reactions, with some netizens siding with the lady while others believe the influencer’s version of the story. Many are now waiting to see if she will provide further proof to counter his claims.
