In a series of posts shared on her Instagram page, the woman expressed her dissatisfaction with Nigeria, claiming that the entire country had a strong unpleasant odor, was heavily polluted, and that even the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) was better in comparison.

Indian woman criticizes Nigerians’ begging culture after brief visit.

She posted, “Everyone is a beggar. Whether it’s a security guard, a cleaner, a shop owner, a street seller, a bike rider, a taxi rider, a bus driver, or a conductor—no matter who it is, they all beg for money.”

She further complained, saying, “And they will start shouting at you if you don’t give them! Everyone is a beggar here. Even Congo DRC was not this bad, man! Even DRC Congo was better.”

The woman also described an encounter with a bike rider while visiting a waterfall. She recounted her experience with a Yoruba bike rider, saying, “I went to a waterfall with a Yoruba bike guy. There were a few Fulani kids enjoying the water. He saw them and started telling me to go back again and again. Somehow, I managed to stay and enjoy the waterfall with the Fulani kids, but the Yoruba guy didn’t even talk to them much.”

She added, “Later, when I asked for a translation, the Yoruba guy said all Fulani are bandits. Not even God can save Nigeria. How stupid do you have to be to behave this way?”

The Indian woman didn’t stop there. She went on to criticize Nigeria’s environmental conditions, particularly Lagos, after staying in the country for four days. She wrote, “My first impression of Nigeria after four days: The country has too much polluted air, and the landscape is very ugly. Also, everyone asks for money, lol. Maybe besides the beautiful landscape of Northern Nigeria, but I am not going there.”

She also made several statements regarding the illegal drug trade in Nigeria, pointing out the role of China and India in the manufacturing of illegal substances. According to her, Nigeria’s economic and social issues are deeply rooted in the country’s system, making it impossible for improvement.

As her controversial post circulated online, social media users who came across it stormed the comment section to share their thoughts, with many Nigerians reacting angrily to her statements.
