Reactions have trailed the moment an abroad-based Nigerian man created a scene at the airport shortly after landing in Nigeria for the festive season.
As people around the world travel to reunite with their families for Christmas and New Year celebrations, Nigerians living abroad, popularly referred to as IJGBs (I-Just-Got-Back), have been making their way home for the holidays.
In a video shared online, an IJGB was captured losing his temper and engaging in a heated argument with airport staff. According to eyewitnesses, the disagreement escalated, causing a commotion that drew the attention of other travelers at the airport.
The man’s vocal rant, punctuated with a noticeable accent, left other passengers visibly confused as they observed the altercation. The situation has since sparked conversations online, with social media users sharing their thoughts on the incident.
The video, captioned “POV: 5 mins after landing Naij,” quickly went viral, with many sharing their reactions to the man’s outburst.
