The lifeless body of a man identified as Kirwa Kipngetich was discovered hanging on a mango tree in Cheberen, Mogotio, Baringo county of Kenya, after he had killed his wife by stabbing her to death. The incident was brought to light when a neighbor stumbled upon the scene. The man's corpse, suspended from the mango tree, was found during the neighbor's visit to his farm. According to the chief of Cheberen, Sammy Kandie, the man had fled from an angry crowd after being caught, seeking refuge in a nearby bush. The victim, Leolinda Jeruto, worked as a JSS teacher at Tian primary school in Cheberen, Mogotio. The motive behind the tragic incident is believed to be related to domestic issues that had strained their relationship over a prolonged period, as reported by one of the neighbors to the authorities. The couple had two children together. Currently, investigations are underway to gather more information surrounding the incident.
