A hilarious video has gone viral, capturing the moment groomsmen hilariously ran away as the groom threw the wedding flower at them, a tradition meant to signify who would be next to get married.
The groomsmen, all dressed sharply in matching red blazers and trousers for the wedding, were seen visibly avoiding the groom’s playful toss of the wedding bouquet, much to the amusement of onlookers.
Traditionally, during weddings, it is the bride who tosses the wedding bouquet to a group of bridesmaids or female guests, and whoever catches the flower is believed to be the next in line to tie the knot. However, in a twist to this tradition, the groom decided to toss the flower at his groomsmen.
Rather than scramble to catch the flower, as many bridesmaids would usually do, the groomsmen chose to sprint in the opposite direction, much to the laughter of wedding attendees and social media users.
The video was humorously captioned, “They are not yet ready to settle down,” emphasizing the groomsmen’s collective reluctance to embrace the idea of getting married.
