A distressing video has surfaced, capturing the heart-wrenching moments when a father relentlessly pursued National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) operatives after his two-year-old son, Ivan Onose Omhonrina, was allegedly shot dead by a stray bullet. The incident unfolded during an NDLEA raid at a suspected drug joint in Okpanam. The footage shows the grieving father, Mr. Fidelis, overcome with inconsolable sorrow, as he desperately chases the officers in his car. Tragically, the officers' shot claimed Ivan's life and left his second son injured in the eye. Eyewitnesses present at the scene reported that the two brothers were inside their mother's shop when the fatal shot was fired. Prior reports from Gist Reel indicate that the NDLEA officers had conducted the raid to apprehend individuals involved in drug-related activities. However, during the operation, an unintended bullet struck the innocent young boy, devastating his family. The widely shared video on social media shows the NDLEA operatives driving away while the grief-stricken father persists in his pursuit, consumed by overwhelming grief and anguish over the sudden loss of his beloved son.
