Father laments over difficult drawing assignment given to his child, social media reacts

The assignment given to the Nigerian five-year-old is definitely challenging for a child of his age. However, it is not uncommon for primary school teachers to give assignments like this to their pupils. 

Drawing is one way to develop a child's fine motor skills, and the activities they were asked to draw were simple enough to be familiar to most five-year-olds. The teacher was most likely trying to get the children to develop their creativity and imagination by using different colors and thinking about the activities that people do in their daily lives. The father can always approach the school to share his concerns or to seek clarification from the teacher.
