A video of a commercial bus driver pleading with his passengers [/b]to re-enter his vehicle after they had alighted following a near-fatal accident has sparked a serious buzz online.
The incident unfolded when the driver, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, narrowly avoided a collision with a trailer on the busy thoroughfare.
Despite averting disaster, the alarming close call prompted all passengers to hastily disembark from the bus, citing concerns for their safety.
Eyewitnesses recounted how the driver, visibly distraught and sober, prostrated himself on the ground, imploring the passengers to reconsider and resume their journey with him.
He attributed the incident to a “silly mistake” and assured them of their safety going forward.
However, despite the driver’s pleas, the passengers remained steadfast in their decision, refusing to reboard the vehicle and opting instead to continue their journey through alternative means.
