A Michigan couple has made history in their family after welcoming a newborn daughter named Audrey on March 17, 2023, who is the first daughter to be born on Andrew's side of the family since 1885, according to his family's records.
Carolyn and Andrew Clark expressed their surprise and joy at breaking their family's record, with Andrew stating that "It was a huge surprise for all of us."
Carolyn revealed that she had first heard about the family's lack of daughters over a decade ago when she started dating Andrew and didn't quite believe it until she asked his parents to confirm the information. "Oh yeah, no, we haven't had a girl in our direct line," they told her.
