A 5-storey building, which was still under construction, has reportedly collapsed in the Government Reservation Area of Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria.
According to the report, emergency responders such as fire services operators and police operatives have been mobilized to the scene of the incident to rescue people who may be trapped under the debris.
This recent collapse of a 5-storey building came just a few days after a seven-storey building collapsed in Banana Island, which is located in the Ikoyi area of the state.
Despite several reported cases of building collapses in Nigeria, the cause of such incidents has not yet been ascertained.
Thankfully, as of the time of this report, the rescue operatives are yet to record any casualty from the collapse of the 5-storey building in Apapa.
