Former President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide , Bashir Ahmad , has cautioned Nigerian music artist Davido and others about making grave mistakes in their music videos while expressing creativity.
Bashir issued the warning in a tweet on Monday in response to Davido's decision to delete a short clip from his signee, Logos Olori’s controversial music video for the song 'Jaye Lo,' which he had shared on Twitter.

In the short video, shared by Davido to introduce Lagos Olori, some individuals were seen praying and dancing in front of a mosque, leading to widespread condemnation and calls for the singer to remove it and apologize for "disrespecting" Islam.
After initially ignoring the criticisms, Davido eventually deleted the "offensive" video from his page over the weekend.
In response to this, Bashir, a Kano-born politician and former House of Representatives aspirant, expressed his approval that Davido had removed the controversial video, but urged him to ensure the entire scene is deleted from the actual footage before releasing it to the market. He also requested that such a grave mistake should not be repeated by Davido or anyone else in the future.
“Let’s strive to listen with empathy, understand with an open heart, and respect each other’s values and beliefs…” Bashir added.
In another development, Davido recently rewarded the honesty and integrity of a dedicated staff member at Eko Hotel and Suites, Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary , who returned $70,000 she found in one of the hotel's suites. Impressed by her act of honesty, Davido publicly praised and rewarded her with $10,000 as a gesture of appreciation and admiration.
Davido's statement about this incident garnered significant attention and sparked reactions from many people who shared their thoughts and praises on the comment page.
