The WAEC result of a Nigerian boy, Mustapha Lukman, who scored 136 in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam, has sparked significant attention on the internet, drawing various reactions from people online.
Lukman, who is determined to pursue a degree in computer science at Kaduna State Polytechnic (KadPoly), shared his WASSCE results on Facebook, asking for opinions on his chances of gaining admission into the institution.
His Facebook post read, “This my WAEC result in jamb 136 do you get addimition in computer science do you get addimition in kadpoly,” raising concerns and curiosity among netizens.
Lukman’s results revealed a distinction (A1) in agricultural science and five B3 grades in subjects such as English language and physics, which many found impressive, especially in light of his low JAMB score.

While some users on social media offered him words of encouragement and provided him with advice on how to proceed, others expressed skepticism about how he managed to achieve such good grades in WAEC despite his low JAMB score and poor command of English.
