Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Lagos State Labour Party gubernatorial candidate, has disclosed that his team has received credible information regarding an assassination attempt on his life. This follows an attack on his campaign train by gunmen in Epe, Lagos State, on March 11.
Rhodes-Vivour accused the Lagos State government of creating an environment in which thugs use intimidation as a tool. He also thanked the DSS for their assistance in dispersing the thugs. During an interview on Arise TV following the attack, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour revealed that he and his team were shot at by gunmen.
The Labour Party gubernatorial candidate blamed the Lagos State government for creating a system where intimidation is used as a tool by thugs.
GRV further insisted that his team is aware of an assassination attempt on his life while mentioning the DSS for their effort in dispersing the thugs.
